Round of introductions
Dear fellows,
The semester has already started, both in Recife and in Vienna, so it seems reasonable and appropriate to initiate a first transatlantic introductory round. The idea is that the members of each pair of groups, which work on the same topic in Recife and Vienna respectively, introduce themselves and exchange their first thoughts on the project.
What are your first impressions of the project? Which are the most interesting questions you have discussed so far? Which questions have arisen in the course of your discussions, during the lecture or while reading the basic literature? What topics seem to be particularly interesting for you? What do you expect with regard to the project? What do you expect to learn in the course of the project?
Join for an unstrained virtual chat and get to know each other better! Get a first picture of what is going on on the other continent! Don’t hesitate to upload photos that seem suitable to illustrate your own narratives and impressions.
Have fun!
Yours, Thomas
P.S.: At last, a short technical note: In order to keep the weblog in a certain tidiness I would ask you to use the thread dedicated to your specific topic for your discussions. After having composed your contribution, please make sure that you uncheck the option “Diesen Beitrag auf der Startseite anzeigen”.
